      This quiz will help you decide whether you are ready to study Essential mathematics 2 (MST125).

      This quiz can also be used to identify topics you need to brush up on or revise in preparation for Essential mathematics 2 (MST125). Most of the questions in this MST125 quiz test your familiarity with topics that are taught in Essential mathematics 1 (MST124).

      You can attempt the quiz as many times as you like and the questions will usually be different each time. You do not have to complete all the questions in one session.

      1. expect to achieve an excellent score (for example more than 80%) on the Are you ready for MST124? quiz,
      2. be able to devote around 18 hours each week to the combined study of both modules.

      Prior knowledge

      Before taking MST125, you must have previously passed, or be simultaneously taking Essential Mathematics 1 (MST124).
