Hi there
For OU study, you should be applying for the Part Time Tuition Fee loan from Student Finance, this is whether you are studying part time or full time.
To ensure the part time loan will
cover the costs of full time study, please choose the option 'I want the
maximum of £3,096’.
On the section of the
application named ‘automatically reducing or increasing your Tuition Fee Loan’
you should also ensure you select the radio button ‘Automatically adjust my
Tuition Fee Loan’. By selecting this option we can increase your Tuition Fee
Loan on your behalf, to ensure your loan amount matches your fee liability.
If these options weren't selected
then you will need to contact Student Finance England and request a Change of
Circumstances (CoC) form which you will need to complete to request Student
Finance raise the amount of your loan.
Please note that for full time study, you will need around 32-36 hours a week to dedicate to your studies, if you're unsure if this will fit around your other commitments, the Time Planner can help you with this,
