I am interested in applying to do certificate of higher education in arts and humanities Course reference T 32 over two years. I am wondering if anyone who knows about it could give me an idea how many hours a week study it might involve? Many thanks.

Hi Adrian,

It is great that you are interested in studying with the Open University. The Certificate of Higher Education in Arts and Humanities consists of a total of 120 credits. The first module is a 60-credit module called Discovering the arts and humanities (A111). You would then have a choice of modules to complete the remaining 60 credits.

Generally, each 60-credit module will require 16-20 hours per week of study. It is important to consider how you will fit study in with your other commitments such as work, family, social, etc. Our Time Planner can help:

The A111 module is offered twice a year, once starting in October and then again starting in February. Please note that the deadline is 10 September to register for the October start.
