Environmental studies - time on site visits

Hi,

I am debating doing a degree in environmental studies how ever I'm not sure which one yet and the course  details mentioned time spent on academic posts aka away from home at a lab or on site (campus or study area).

Does anyone know how long these placements are and when in the course aka a week at Easter.

This may prevent me from doing the course or any like it at all with being a ADHD single mum with care responsibilities.

thanks.

Hi Mel, we offer several degrees in this area. The only degree that has a residential school module is the BSc (Honours) Environmental Science. The module with the residential school module is SXF206. There are two residential schools on that module and both last for three days. They are held at three sites and you would book the site the works best for you. The three sites are Malham Tarn in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Preston Montford in Shropshire, and Nettlecombe Court Exmoor National Park.

I hope this helps.
