Start date - psychology and counselling

Hi! 

Im looking to join the psychology and counselling foundation degree course, it says applications will open in March but when would the course actually start?

Hi Nicole,

It is great that you are considering studying with the Open University. The next available start date is in October 2022.


Registrations will open at the end of March, and remain open until the first week of September. Most modules are presented from October through June, however there may be some Stage 1 modules that can be studied from February through September.


Generally, each module will require 16-20 hours per week of study. It is important to consider how you will fit study in with your other commitments such as work, family, social, etc. Our Time Planner can help:
