Joining a level 2 or 3 module

Hi everyone,

Are there any rules/barriers that would prevent me from signing up to a level 2 or 3 module as my first module?

I already completed a degree elsewhere in a different subject, so I'd like to take some modules of interest, and not necessarily a whole degree path.

Hi S Acaster,

Thank you for your enquiry. Most OU modules can be studied on a standalone basis. The module page on the website will state whether the module has entry requirements and whether it can only be studied as part of a qualification. Here is a link to view the list of modules which can be studied on a standalone basis:

If you decide to study a qualification later, it may be possible to count standalone study towards it.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Neems
