Hi everybody,

I am interested in the Open University however I work 4 days a week, although they’re fixed hours.

I was wondering if the courses are tailored to you exactly and whether all lectures are online or is it a split between online/in-person lectures

Hi Morgan,

Thank you for your enquiry and interest in studying with The Open University (OU). For most of our courses your study will be entirely online, within your own time each week and you will have optional, online tutorials, with a selection of dates and times to choose from. Some courses have face-to-face requirements, for which details will be in the course information pages.

You are advised to consider how many hours you will have available for studying each week. Here are links to information on the time it takes to study:

You can study at your own pace, so long as you do not exceed the limit of 120 credits in an academic year and you complete the qualification within the time limit.
