A Certificate of Higher
Education is equivalent to the first year of a full honours degree and a
Diploma of Higher Education is the equivalent to the first two years of a full

The certificates, diplomas
and degrees within the Business subject area start in February and October each
year. Registration for courses starting in February 2024 is open until the 11th
January. Registration for the October 2024 start will open mid-late March 2024.
The number of modules depends
upon the options you choose within the qualification. Modules are 6
months or 9 months long. A Certificate
is made up of modules adding up to 120 credits whilst a Diploma comprises 240
credits. The end time will depend upon how many modules/credits you want to
study each year upto a maximum of 120 credits each year. You can see more about this here:
