I would love to do one of the courses that are linked to the open college of the arts. I noticed there's differences in the cost of the courses tuition fees compared to the ou ones and it seems very expensive to do an art course. Does that mean that students would need to pay the difference between what is covered by the part time fee grant? Which would make it financially unaccessible if that was the case ( bearing in mind further education is meant to be free in Scotland i thought?) Or am i mistaken about the tuition costs?
It is great that you are interested in one of the courses offered by the Open College of Arts (OCA). Funding should be possible through the Part-Time Fee Grant from SAAS without a need for a payment of the difference, but it would be best to discuss this with the OCA:
