My mark for TMA 02 was one better than TMA 01. Why am I disappointed?
Because again, after battling to keep with the word limits, I find that the review comments all suggest that I should have included more. It has been assessed as a section of a novel when I had to trim it down to a very short story.
It does perhaps give me more confidence about the EMA - now finished bur as a very rough draft. I feel much happier writing longer stories.
I am still dreading TMA 03 and later TMA 06. I can't write about how my work has been influenced by my reading because it hasn't. I haven't found a modern writer that writes the sort of stories I like to write. Maybe the upcoming Tutorial will help. I am hoping that my Creative Writing TMAs will get me through with a good enough total mark.
The course itself is so quiet as to be almost nonexistent. TMA 02 was marked even quicker than TMA 01. I suspect this is because half the students have already given up. I feel as if there are only two active students left in my Tutor Group, which may be more than other Tutors!
