As expected, my mark for TMA 06 was the lowest of the course. They wanted me to include influences from the course and my external reading - two topics for which I had no input.

There were some useful comments about my EMA, mostly structural. I now describe it in the Summary as the start of a novel, without suggesting that it could be a complete novella. This meant relabelling the Appendix as the final small Section of the last Chapter. Some Sections now have section titles giving location and date. 

I have had periods of leaving the draft EMA for days. And I have reached the stage where changes are insignificant - commas, full stops, paragraph structure, italics.

So I have submitted my EMA, six weeks early. It's possible to change it before October if I need to. The results are due in December. There is still a final Workshop, not due for review until about a week before the deadline. I have put the opening section into this, but I'm not expecting to have to make changes. The Chapter is almost unchanged since I wrote it six months ago. I only entered the Workshop to help others,
