The final Workshop was an opportunity to help others with their EMA.s The almost random process meant that I have seen and reviewed three sections from each student in three successive workshops.
There were just enough enough comments through this workshop about the beginning of my my EMA for me to make some changes. Mostly odd words and punctuation to heighten the suspense of the Prologue, and make Chapter One look slightly more distant - It's like a short flashback before the main story which is almost all flashback. The due date is the day after tomorrow. I will give it one final review using Microsoft Word Read-Aloud.
Apart from this, the course has fizzled out with weeks of inactivity. I have to wait until December for results.
Meanwhile, I am reconsidering my writing. My novel in progress, still far from complete, has become larger and may be de-interleaved to two or three novellas. Perhaps before completing this, I may work on extending my EMA, which I always considered as the first third of a novel.
This may be my last blog. I will see if the (Graduation) Ceremony is worth noting next spring.
