OK I have kicked into gear on this course nice and effectively. Skimmed the 'prep for study' parts since most of this I have already covered in other areas, but polished up on 'how to take notes from audio visuals. Its ended up with me taking handwritten notes in mind-map form and then scanning these in.. but this works ok
I have watched all but the last film (As indicated by the learning companion) just need to finish this activity and then review my notes before continuing on with the week 2 stuff. Shouldn't be too hard.
The On line Tutorials seem to be a very prominent feature of this course, intrigued what these will offer over the DVD-ROM features of AA100.
Have to be honest, so far, I am a little bored with the content, after getting to grips with Plato, Socrates and Kant this seems a little secondary school so far. But I'm guessing its VERY early days. I skimmed the 'big book' and noted some areas on economics which I think I am looking forward to (since Philosophy hints on economics at times!)
We shall see....
