As I intend writing about blogging as part of Activity 5 of week 10 I thought it best to "activate" my own personal blog on here. I don't feel too bad about it lying dormant to this point as I have a personal OU blog that I write down my thoughts on and also run a couple of non-OU blogs, so am fairly well versed in the process of putting together blog posts on Wordpress at least.
The setup here is quite different from Wordpress of course and looking down to the bottom of the post I've decided to allow comments from anybody, whether they're logged in or not. Often by removing the identity barriers we get something closer to the truth from responders. Using anonymous identities and pseudonyms may open up the door to trolls when blogging to a wider audience but it can also allow people to speak in a voice more comfortable to them and say things they may not feel they can say when logged in as themselves.
I've also made it visible to the world so the millions of people waiting for this blog to launch can now finally read these pertinent words
