Question. What do you call a collection of hens?
Answer. A peck of hens.
Or a cluck (suggested by my brother).
Or a book?
"The Book of Hens" sounds quite distinguished.
I thought it was a brood of hens (and pickled peppers come in pecks). Or did I miss a subtle joke?
Remember the hen is a peck animal.
If so, why did the Snetterton Expedition of 1927 not use them to cross the Andes?
