Alrighty, that’s the year finished, everything is done! At the start I never thought I would have gotten this far. Somehow managed to maintain the level of grades despite all the craziness going on, getting stuck in another country, the immigration issues and the stress. Things got even more crazy a few weeks ago when I tripped and fell through a glass window breaking multiple bones and getting a whole bunch of nasty injuries resulting in being kept in the hospital for three days. Yep I know, talk about hard luck right, it’s been rough. Doctors orders are to rest and take it easy for the next six to ten weeks… On the bright side, it looks like the state of emergency here in Tokyo is going to be lifted next week and the world may start to return to normal. I’ve decided to stay here for the foreseeable future and depending on what happens may or may not be able study next year but the plan is to try and make it possible, even if it means flying to the UK just for the exams.
I would like to thank all those here who have been supportive, especially the tutors for understanding the situation and doing their best to continue working, marking and helping everyone. Also would like to thank all the other students who took the time on the forum and who all worked hard despite this virus stuff messing everything up. It has been an interesting year to say the least. I hope everyone is safe and rocks those grades when the final marks come in for the year! It’s time to focus on some other things until September/October.
Ya know… some of the course materials were extremely difficult but it was genuinely enjoyable figuring out and solving problems. It was actually rather cosy when it was raining outside and all you can hear is the keyboard typing away or the sound of the textbook pages turning with the rain against the window. Strangely relaxing.
Have a good summer ya’ll!
