You can attempt the questions in any order by clicking on the buttons that will appear on the left-hand side.
Most questions allow you three attempts. You will be given a hint about how to proceed after incorrect attempts and the full answer will be provided after three incorrect attempts.
An overview of your performance will be given when you proceed to the results page.
You do not need to answer all the questions in one go. You may break off at any point and return later and carry on.
- If you are already an OU student and have logged-in you can continue using any computer.
- If you are a visitor from outside the OU you will need to use the same computer if you wish to carry on from the point you had reached.
Your progress through the test will be stored in your browser, so you can leave the test and return on another day if you don't have time to complete it now.
