In the office

Visible to anyone in the world

First day back in the office for my (increasingly more) PT adviser job. Despite trying to pick out the "must do now" emails from home over the Christmas/ New Year break I had >80 to wade through today. Some needed an hour or so sort out while others were a complete and utter waste of electrons (spam, invites to Christmas lunch at Walton Hall, a reminder that the catering at Walton Hall is closing early two weeks last Wednesday, etc).

Main stuff today has been prisons related - no big surprise I don't suppose, my advising world is very prison-centric

Gotta cut this short as someone is trying to explain how to run SPSS in a prison..........

I spent 17yrs as a prison officer, sad to say I got on better with the convicts (sorry inmates) than I did with the staff, that in itself tells you a story!!!
