Hi I'm Karen Wright, Mother of three beautiful grown up children and grandmother to Jack, and Max.
My first degree was social science based. It is a mixture of education and psychology and was brilliant for the job I was in at the time.. However due to ill health I have now decided to study a Humanities Degree with an art history specialism, (thus change of career). I love the arts and hope to work on developing my art skills. Thus hoping this course will help me understand what art is and what kind of techniques are useful in art. . Love OU courses.

Another brilliant course run by the OU
. I have not yet completed it but have so enjoyed it thus far. I am struggling with the big fancy words in book three
and live with my trusted dictionary close at hand. I have come to realise I am just not very educated, but this course will put pay to that.

Have finally finished the course work and have achieved a 2.1. I am so looking forward to the revision as have a good excuse to read the books again
in preparation for the exam which looks tricky
. I hope this next reading will help and the tutorial that supports the revision and exam will make every thing clear. I had a brilliant tutor Erica who has kept me focused on writing succinctly and finally forced me into thinking seriously about my grammar
. I hate grammar
. Hopefully the exam will go well and I will be back in October studying another course with the OU.
