I thought all teenage boys were like that . My sons standard response to the suggestion he telephones his friends (because they would then definitely answer) is to reach for his Ipod and facebook them as he assumes they will be on-line at some stage. They invariably change arrangements minutes before hand and then someone doesn't get informed in time and they miss them.
