Fooled!
Dawn on the common. Rabbits scampered into their burrows but on the horizon a larger creature browsed. No - not the cottager's flocks returning or an ox - 'twas a hare.

We had some lovely photos of mad March Hares in our local paper this week
We also have a Hare and Magpie sculpture in Arreton that is very famous locally. At Christmas, Easter, Halloween it is dressed up by someone local in appropriate costume. A couple of years ago someone took a chain saw to it and stole the hare. There was a real hullaballoo, fortunately someone found the hare in a carpark and it was restored.
Gosh!
That's a tale! Glad the sculptures were restored.
