The effort that went into MU123’s TMA 02 did bring a good result, with all my MU123 results in the nineties percent - my best set of results from five modules so far.
Ok, so it may not be the most difficult (maths) module in the world - and there’s no exam… - but, 99% for TMA 02 is going to be a hard act to follow A welcome ‘gift’ to start a few days rest from assignment writing and mathematical communication, etc.
Meanwhile, I’m preparing my trumpet playing for Christmas morning with some Dvorak on the side, so to speak.

Thanks Caroline - not that I was after praise as such , but it was a very pleasing result!
I must admit that I’m finding MU123 assignments fairly hard work in that they are quite time consuming. Also, I’m typing them out before sending them (using Word 2007) which means taking time - in my case a number of days! - to get the algebra/equations/tables etc. to look good. It is, after all, that we’re ‘Discovering' Mathematics in this module and not applying any tricky theories or constructing complex mathematical models…
Still, as I say, it’s all worth it, adding to my ‘further education’ which currently takes me on a Social Science pathway. I've M140 (Stats) starting in Feb, and DD206 (Soc Sci) after that.
