sick

Visible to anyone in the world

My wife has had her sickness benefit taken from her. We knew that this was going to happen, we've talked, long-time, about our plan for the event. She could have fought it but we realized that we had no good long-term outcome. Right doesn't matter here, she can win, once, once as long as she wants—it'll just start all over again. Eventually they will win.

This fight, even if won, would ruin us. Two people against ten thousand, where they can fail, in any way, at any point without being wrong; we fail just once and we lose. Only the stupid fight such battles.

So we said that when it came, as it has, we'd give up every supposed luxury that scroungers should do without, we'd do the best that we could to maintain ourselves as humans.

One of those luxuries is the OU.

I am very, very sorry to hear that.

I hope you find a way to continue. Studying maintains sanity.

Don't let the bastards grind you down.

Best wishes

I'm sorry to hear that your wife has fallen victim to the fascist agenda. If this is an ESA assessment you have the right to a review and an appeal after that. I know that the idea of constantly having to fight is a major issue. The government have basically told the sick that they will never give up threatening and 'testing' them.

It is a form of persecution and falls under the U.N. descriptors for persecution. I should know, I used to enforce them - and I'm on the sick now. What they are doing is, actually, against International law. IDS is a monster and should face trial. ATOS are twisted bastards as well.

There are a lot of us fighting this Neil. You are not alone. I have asked for so many reviews I have lost count. I take it as a given that the DWP/ATOS will turn me down or try and put me on a lower benefit because they are fascists who don't give a damn about humanity. It takes its toll, mentally and psychically, to keep fighting them when you should be trying to take it easy.

I have to fight. If I don't I will become homeless and starve. If that happens I will quickly become too insane/dangerous to be allowed out in public and will finish my days in a mental asylum.

On the brighter side, I have never lost a review request or an appeal. In fact it never gets to appeal because they always back down. The DWP/ATOS back down a lot. Its built into the system. They turn down people they know clearly qualify just to see if they can get away with it. A lot of these people accept the decision and the DWP fascists win. Those who ask for a review often get reinstated because the DWP don't want it getting to tribunal where they would be embarrassed by a ruling against them, exposing their inhumanity to man.

I hope it all works out for you both.

Take care.
