Back to the trumpet it is then
Today I'm off (with Mum and Dad) to Tilehurst, near Reading, to see my brother and tomorrow I'm playing some hymns for the Easter Sunday service at All Saints church.
I have been listening to various versions of Sway (a.k.a. Quien Sera, by Pablo Beltran Ruiz) perhaps most popularly remembered as sung by Dean Martin in the 1950s. I got the 'bug' for this from one of my trumpet play-along books where the band plays the backing and the 'student'(!) gets to play the tune.
It keeps playing along in my head now...
The Espresso Guy? Well, when I asked the ladies in the Luton Pizza Express (some I hadn't seen since last year) if they remembered me, the answer was "...yes, you're the espresso guy!". Indeed I am, as it is mostly all that I drink when I'm out - only really matched by the amount of bottled water I get through...
