It shows how four soldiers are trying to cross No-man'sland in the First World war...all are starving...half crazy from Fear..the other half from exhaustion...and they all begin to hallucinate...and sudden;y there is machione gun fire...one thinks he is standing on the faces of his dead friends...one has been shot...charlie waendel(who represents death is a ghost) and dai(name taken from 'In Parenthesis' by david jones(as are some of the idea's)..begins to see knights charging and cavalry...in his mind all times have merged(you saw the image yesterday..or one of the them.)

It is the boar Trwyth..the sacrifice the speckled lord of Prydain in his twice-embroidered coat the bleeding man in green... and if through the trellis of green and between the rents of the needlework the whiteness of his body shone so did his dark wounds glisten. ..
