we are not equal when it comes to greed...

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Neil Anderson, Wednesday, 27 Aug 2014, 19:48

I notice that a Bank that we, us, me, as a country, own has been fined for the personal maleficences of its greedheaded management-crew. It seems like nobody is responsible..

I notice that Rotherham Council allowed a culture of raping young girls to flourish. Again nobody was responsible.

I notice that a lot of people, who are doing very nicely, think that the world is fine.and will be much, much worse, and actually we will die if we vote for dis-union -- the scots, are responsible for the sins of the world.

When rich people coven, you may be assured that your benefit is a nowhere feature.

Neil, I think you will find that there are also a lot of people, who are well off, who are Yes campaigners. You only need to look at the misguided individuals who have contributed millions of their personal wealth towards that campaign. Of course, it doesn't matter too much to them, they aren't the ones who would suffer if it all went wrong under independence, they have their wealth to fall back on. I am sure people like Sean Connery, who doesn't even live here, doesn't lie awake at night worrying about how a Scottish economy might flounder or how Alex Salmond and his band of merry William Wallacers would tackle the Jihadist threat single-handedly or how business would start to crumble as he raises business taxes to help pay for his little dream of King Alexland.

Nobody believes the World is just fine but from a British point of view, we feel it will be better if we stay together. How people can think otherwise is beyond belief.

The one thing we can all be sure of is that the rich will be just fine, whatever the outcome.

Scotland can be an independent country ... or remain part of the UK. It will work out either way. The poor will still be f**ked! This is the way of any country.

The little people remain just that.

I don't have a preference as to independence or otherwise. Perhaps it would be a shame if I had to think of Scotland as a foreign country - when I, currently, don't. But this is just a definition. I don't think of Ireland as foreign so perhaps this means little.

Nationalism is something which appeals to the heart, to the world of dreams and ideals. The world we live in will never be ideal.

When I was young I used to think of England as some sort of beacon for ideals. I don't think that way any more. I'm sure we will get on just the same whatever the outcome of the referendum. The poor of England and the poor of Scotland will still have more in common with each other than the state of being 'foreign' can divide us.

Ultimately the rich will win either way.

Stay strong and be you.

Love.
