Invited en famille to a Lewes event we found instead first our 15 year old daughter then even our 13 year old son had other plans so we let them run with it, the first collected at 1.00am the second sleeping over.
Meanwhile at our friend's party we find that most of the teenagers had have had the same idea, indeed some are at the same 'venue'. We can share lifts, we've already shared views of the likelihood of 'inappropriate' behaviour and believe they are in good hands.
Midnight goes off with a terrifyingly load series of bangs; this is Lewes.
Our party run the pyrotechnics for one of the the 'Bonfire Societies' so we get fire crackers, thunder-claps and bangers in the street.
That sounds good. I went to Lewes for a folk festival a few years ago. I liked it there. And I had a residential school there, or there-abouts, I think.
Your 2012 is sounding very busy indeed! Good luck with the MAODE.

Happy New Year to you too. 2012 is already going very well my end!! Hmm, that could be a matter of perspective I suppose!
I hope we get to hear of many altercation-free kebab journeys in the coming year
