Dear poets...

Visible to anyone in the world

After debating with anyone available as to why there is a smile and a wink and a sad but not a ;-( and having had perfectly acceptable responses (people don't wink when they are sad being the general theme), I would like to have a poem about it.

It is to be called "Semi-colon eyes and an open bracket mouth".  Or similar.

Any takers?

Glad to hear it's not just me who ponders these things!

Well then Rosie, here you are, off the top of my head,

The semi-colon eyes and open bracket mouth

invade like the slightly pissed, over friendly 'uncle'

At the family wedding.

The full-colon he's 'just a friend'.

The semi-colon and closed bracket,

Well he is just the saddest person you've ever seen

And if you do see him say ''hello'' from me.

As I said, the second line in particular.
