Did you catch 'The News Quiz' last week - there was a story concerning a man, an eel and a trip to the A&E.

The route to the eel investigation was a long one and one filled with many moments of shame.  I think I'm best off if I go with saying that eels randomly popped into my mind and so I did some research...

Didn't the Eels have hits in the UK in early 2000's?

I like them in jelly.... tongueout

I'm lying; I've never tried but I'm told, on great authority, that the jelly is good. Don't know what the eel they're talking about really. Went to such a place once with good intention but, in the end, backed down and had a pie. wide eyes

Jellied eels... now there's a thing!  I too have heard many a sensible person sing their praises.  Perhaps they have not seen the way eels navigate when alive... I'm good about weird food generally, but eels and snails and frogs and anything of that nature is distinctly unappealing and even a little nauseating!
