Access Module started Yesterday

Visible to anyone in the world

Today I finished doing an OpenLearn course on Starting with Psychology and I started doing English: Skills for Learning. I thought it would help with me do better on the Access Module.

I've got a Tutorial booked for Monday (my birthday), at 2pm and I'm looking forward to that.

My water-only fast only lasted a week so I'll probably start another one some time next week. I hope that people understand that this is an experiment I'm doing in the hope of further understanding the human mind, particularly my own. Although I am currently overweight, I'm not fasting to lose weight. Fortunately one of the advantages of only drinking water is that weight loss is unavoidable!

I am doing these fasts as a continuation of an experiment I've been conducting since Christmas 2016. I'm researching if it's possible to do something that absolutely everyone I know tells me is not possible and that they, or anyone else would find very difficult. One of the primary conditions of this water-only experiment is that it must be 'effortless'. There should be no battle. If I wish to eat, I eat. Otherwise the fast continues. Last year, the longest effortless fast was for 28 days and this year (so far) I've done 7 days.

Back to Study.

Concerning my study, this is a very new area for me. I have never done any higher education and when I last studied in school or when I was studying to pass my Standard One Exam's at the Police Training School in Hong Kong, the results were pretty disastrous. I have never found studying attractive ... till now.

My Module officially starts today and I will be posting my progress, or lack of, here in this blog. Good luck to anyone else who is also doing the Access Module and do say hello if you're swinging by.

Reejai!
