I particularly like the "rights and choices" and the converse "no teaching system is completely open".
This is the tension that I live with in my own Learning-for-Life place. I administer a closed LMS and understand the economies of that system. But I benefit and thrive in the openness of MOOC's, open platforms, open collaborations, open ed resources and online libraries. I have also followed Dave Cormier into a few MOOC's and non-courses like #Rhizo15. Just amazing educational experiences that have influenced me over the last 5 years. Thanks for this diagram.
