The place I work for is being sold to developers.
I work at a place called the RockBarn and it's used by a charity called The 7C's Foundation, They want to tear down the RockBarn to put up some luxury flats. We're situated in the middle of town and the RockBarn has become a thriving community center for music.
As a consequence of planning permission being submitted for the flats, there has been a lot of activity within the community trying to stop the progress of the developers. I myself have been on the radio and television about the issue and attended several meetings.
All the new activity, which has been an addition to my normal workload, has meant that I have found it very difficult to find time tp study. This is unlikely to change in the near future. I have therefore asked to be allowed stop the current access course I am doing and register to restart the same course again in February. This permission has been granted to me.
