Well, this is my first ever blog post. I’m not even sure exactly what a blog is! My fifteen year old daughter says I’m a boomer! Again not sure what this is but i guess it somehow means clueless old fart. Maybe she is right!
Does anyone read this but me? Hmmmmm. I don’t know but I’m pretty sure I will find out!
Any way I generally have a head full of random, weird and often crazy thoughts so I’m going to start putting them here for my amusement and maybe other peoples too if people do indeed see it!

Click on "View Site Entries" (small blue print) on your own blog description page, to see other people's blogs. Most people won't comment on anything posted to the whole world as it means their comment is also posted to the whole world. Most people stick with view by logged in only, which still means anybody, staff or student, who is logged into the OU site i.e. not just your module.
A useful bit of etiquette is to not flood the site with massive or over-frequent posts. It is a communal space, not exactly a personal space unless you restrict to private view by yourself only..

Boomer? Doubt it, unless you were born prior to 1965... If so, I take it you are using an old photo...
As Jan says, if you want more interaction with other O.U. bloggers it's best not to make posts open to the world.
Still, it's your choice.
