The session seemed to go okay and there was some useful content discussed but students seemed to prefer to use the texting option than speaking. I would like future sessions to be more student centred.

I am afraid I haven't been able to join in yet due to technical problem with my pc. However, I am very anxious about and not very confident. Hopefully I shall be able to catch up not too long.

Do not worry too much. Elluminate can be a useful/interesting way to communicate but it is not a compulsory part of the course at the moment. It just allows us to really speak to each other.
