Good afternoon, Open University,
A new academic year is nearly upon us, and I am really looking forward to studying A233 Telling Stories: The Novel and Beyond. I am so happy I asked if my last module was a grade 2 pass.
Yesterday was my 46th birthday, and I had a lovely day. Today, I have started studying the module website. I have completed the reading for this module, literature, and I have started 1/4 of the module workbook, realism.
What I am really looking forward to in this module is reading books that I would not normally have read as they are not my genre of reading. However, some of the books I have enjoyed reading, other books I have not enjoyed, and other books I have been 'it was okay' about.
There were a lot of books to read for this module. I am really glad that I completed all the reading before the module started, so I now have one month until the module officially starts. I am hoping that there is a day school for this module, and I am hoping to be able to attend as I was unable to attend the day school for the last module.
I am looking forward to starting the module, and I can't wait until 11 September, when the TMA questions come out, so I can start researching them and get a head start.
