a quick introduction to me

Visible to anyone in the world

hi!

i'm kira, a something-teen currently bumbling my way through life smile welcome to my blog!

i'm currently on my second year of a software dev degree with ou. in my first year, i undertook mst124, tm111, tm129 and tm112. i'm currently studying tm269, tm254 & m250, with tm252 soon to join the mix in february. if i'm honest, uni isn't what i thought it'd be: it's challenging in aspects i didn't anticipate, and a lot easy in others that i thought i'd struggle with more. but overall, i'm really enjoying it. i'm very grateful to be able to learn remotely in a way that best suits my hectic life schedule and i sincerely thank the ou for providing me with this opportunity.

as a person, i'm something of a chaotic mix of whimsy and mania, all jumbled together :D i suppose i'm just your average human at the end of the day- i love reading, i crochet, i've been playing the violin for most of my life and took up guitar & singing about a year ago. i''ll likely share my ongoing projects and reviews here as well as thoughts that occur to me that i want to yap about.

haha, i've never blogged before! but i thought it would be a nice idea to have a safe space with my other students where i can share my thoughts, struggles, idle musings and my overall journey through this period of my life smile

anyways, i dooooo have a tma due in a few hours... don't worry, i have finished it!! i just want to proofread it one more time before i submitted it so this is my little brain break haha

welcome along for the ride!

many virtual warm hugs,

kira

Hi Kira,

I'm also a something-teen. I'm studying my first year at the OU, currently doing TM111 and MU123. I totally agree with what you said about the OU subverting expectations, I'm really enjoying it so far and it has been interesting exploring what I find easy, that I didn't expect to, and what I am struggling with. Later this year I am starting TM112 and TM129 and I am looking forward to them.

Good luck with your TMA!! I hope you get a result your happy with,

Erin
