The course gets even quieter and I don't know why I am writing this. I don't think anyone reads my blogs.
I would describe the course material as woolly waffle. I've tried some activities. Perhaps some other students are doing it, but there is no activity at all on the forums. So far only two others have offered draft TMA 02 for review. Mine was submitted about three weeks before the due date.
I am getting the overall view that what this course praises is the esoteric use of non-standard literary forms. It's about impressing other writers. That's not why I write. I write to impress my readers.
My other disappointment is that it's all about writing short stories, with TMAs of 2000 words. I can't write short stories. I want to write novels of around 100 000 words. The best I can do is to use the opening chapter of a novel for a TMA. Even my EMA will be the first third of a novel.
