33 Assessment

Visible to anyone in the world

My mark for TMA 04 was the best mark so far, enough to give a TMA pass before TMA 06, which I am not looking forward to.

Feedback assessment reflects the responses from the Workshop. My main problem was the Summary, with not enough words available to explain how the extract fitted into a larger novel.

I am starting to think seriously about the Summary for the EMA. As it's a novella, the first part of a novel, it makes more sense to me if the EMA can be read before the Summary. I don't want to give away the ending before the EMA.

There is a Creative Writing student led online session every Tuesday and I have almost finished reading my draft EMA to them in sections of just over 500 words. I am left with the final section that has to be able to merge with what I will say in the Summary about what happens next.
