I'm afraid that I've only read a bit, I don't view all blog entries as I fear that I would be easily sidetracked from studying if I attempted to....

Having said that, I did enjoy what I read (it took a few moments to sink in to realise it was fiction), but I'm no critic since I rarely read fiction - my head is in an OU book most of the time mixed

Thank you for your comment.  I note from your profile that you are studying mental health.  This is a very important theme in my writing: people in various states of mental extremis. 

Some of my short fiction is explicitly about people who are, or who become, mentally ill.  I don't believe in didactic fiction, but I think contemporary fiction is doing some good work in helping to de-mystify and de-stigmatise mental illness.
