My youngest's hand in mine, Feb 2012

OMG

Visible to anyone in the world

Hello once again!

I hope you are well.  Christmas sure seems such a long way away now!

I am now firmly on my way to either going absolutely crazy or learning how to be a systems practitioner.

I start T214 and T306 formally in February and I am still working my way through M257.

I am so very scared of what lay ahead.  I find it really difficult to understand English sometimes when thee is talk of things in an abstract way (like 'systems' as opposed to 'computer systems' for example).  I think this may be my biggest study challenge yet!

The family are doing fine.

Brandon (2 year old) seems to have suddenly decided that he WILL interact with us and talks lots and lots.  He is so very cute when he talks too so he is quite the distraction to any day-time study efforts.

Morgan (4 year old) is still trying to cope with the pressures of not being the baby anymore.  I keep thinking there is no hurry, but he starts school in September and there will be no momy-ing there!  Part of me says that I should make him snap out of the "I'm still the baby" phase but another part of me thinks that he'll learn when the time is right, when he goes to school and who am I to make him change things now?

Sofia (6 year old) is now my Ms Sofia, very correct, very self righteous, very cruel but so pretty with it! She is gorgeous and capable of such selflessness that sometimes I feel humbled by it!  She can also be incredibly cruel and you can almost see a grin as she says mean things to little brothers that are easily wound up... a woman in the making.

Paul is doing remarkably well (7 year old).  He seems to have got a grip of his ADHD (or ADD) and is starting to be more relaxed.  He still has a lot of involuntary movements and makes noises for no good reason, but he understands now that this can distract people from seeing him for him... he is so very clever too, so intelligent and so bright!  I am in awe of him as he deals with life so well, considering this time last year the school were considering expulsion! We have come a long way since then, and the path is smoother too.

Luisa (12 year old) is the most wonderful girl I know.  She is interesting and kind and preoccupied with current affairs.,  She has her own style (to a degree) and her own stance on many things. Has a heart of gold and such a great attitude to life.

I hope you've enjoyed this.  I suddenly realised that maybe someone else is reading this and that you ought to know a little about me... This has the possibility of turning into a rather interesting rhetoric if I can just remember to come in more often to say hello and update you on things.

Take care, see you soon.
