Just read your blog entry for today about your course choice hope you don't hold me responsible next year when we both find we can't understand what the hell is going on. Still as it is the last chance to do these courses might as well grab it whilst we can and then end with Number theory in Oct 2012 then it'll be the end of an era as far as maths teaching in the OU is concerned.
Good to know that you'll be there to share the pain another incentive is that Alan should be our tutor for both courses

My real problem is with the computer courses—apart from a few, they're all aimed at industrial production; something that I'll never do and doesn't interest me. Well maybe a bit...

And number theory in Oct2012 ? Last chance to get to grips with Logic Computability and Godel's theorem and you seem to be keen on numbers anyway.
