Well Neil sorry your hatred of Taylor Polynomials hasn't diminished. All I can say is without them Numerical analysis and mathematical modelling of Physical or Engineering problems would be impossible. Take a look at some of the work we've been doing on the Cambridge Computing Projects. It'll all begin to make more sense.
Actually I've found them not-too-bad this time around. It's just that my writing has become opaque!
I don't think that I'm going to manage to get to any of the tutorials, serious work-hell. But I'll see you at the exam. Hopefully we can all have a wee drinkkee after!
