That's my sort of plan. I like the idea of calling my inability to follow a plan a plan. Almost as though it was intentional. It was intentional. Excellent. Thanks.
I agree. I like the Tosh philosophy, that more or less sums up how I work as well. Then I panic. It's not that I don't work, I do, but I don't do it methodically. We get there in the end though, don't we?
@Chris, you know the distinction between if and if and only if. This is not cause and effect.
I really do have a plan: do what I want until the panic kicks in, when I'll read John O'd's analysis of the past papers and cram those questions
My thinking is that this shouldn't be as difficult as M221; there are quite a few questions that you can do quickly and there's a good range of choice for part II. As long as we don't panic I'm fairly confident of a result.
And remember that it doesn't matter what you do as long as you can get others to accept that you had good reasons for your actions.
Yes in principle but my first attempt at 2006 blind uncovered all sorts of gaps and I made a silly error on a matrix eigenvalue equation which I couldn't resolve and ate into all my time. Also I find the symmetry questions a bit fiddly. Still practice practice.

Don't be so disingenuous Neil, You've got distinction or grade 2 in all your courses so far so your method obviously works.

The trick is going to be not to try to get it right. Time is the important factor, as long as we use the right method we'll be ok.
