Yeah I found when I was doing M208 and M337 together last year that that was far too much pure maths. I decided I would only ever do 1 pure maths course a year at the most. with something a bit more familiar as a counterbalance. And given how topology has been the biggest brain f*ck I've had I'm glad I did. it's just about worked out although I cant say I've done the MST324 course much justice lots of challenging exercises which I've just had to leave out as Topology has just dominated my thinking this year.
This year I'll be free of pure maths so hopefully I can let some the concepts sink in.
Yes it's been too much. I've been a wee bit lazy but mostly it's just that I haven't had time to concentrate on properly understanding. And I just don't get the geometry, so I have to spend ages on something that I don't much like.
My marked TMA dropped through the letterbox today, I've got something to aim for. So I've decided that revision will be all topology and groups.
I'll see you on the 29th, hopefully I'll be able to get to the pub afterwards this time.
