Hey there. I have all my textbooks on CD as well. What I found helps (after panicking for the same reason) is to go back into iTunes, go into the book's playlist (or enter whatever search terms cause all the pertinent tracks to come up) and, looking at the top bar (the one that says album, time, name, artist, genre, etc) and click on a couple of different ones. For me, 'date added' or 'name' usually shunts them into the right order.

Failing that, the furthest left corner, which is the track number section. Then just sync your ipod. (probably does work best if you keep the book as a playlist)

If they got numbered/named funny in the engineering, your best bet may be to renumber them yourself. Can take an age, but untimately worth it. Good luck!

hiya

it could be because your ipod setting is on shuffle

turn ipod on and scroll down till you see the settings heading

select then (well it is on mine) there is a 'bar' for shuffle - turn to 'off' and it should now play albums, podcasts etc in the order they are in your playlist

hope this works -otherwise you can listen to mine -if you're good!!
