So Neil what was the question you refer to in your other blog that no-one could get started on? I'm intrigued. The only question I didn't try was Q11. The last bit of Q10 was rather odd, and by the time I got there (the first 10 points were a gimme) I thought I should have chosen something else, which is why I went on and did Q12 as well. The answer was obvious enough, but showing it to be correct for 8 marks... we'll see.
It was the question about the triangles and octagons. We'd been looking for a regular subdivision. Fault us.
By the way, thanks for answering so many questions on the forum. You and the two Howards should probably get a one by right. Fortunately you'll get ones anyway.

Sounds like it went well.
Would never have doubted it. I'll have a beer in your honour!

Hi Great summary of the situation. Just a wee correction I was talking about Fourier Series not Laplace transforms.
Good luck in the next one
All the best mate

heh I messed up the algebra for Q5 but knew it was a truncated cube.
then went back and still couldn't do the first bit apart from F = octagons + triangles.
I can't remember many of the questions properly didn't really read Q10 to be honest.
