I don't think there are face to face tutorials for the MSc
On the other hand maybe me you Graeme, Duncan and the other mathos could meet up once a month for a drink and chinwag review of stuff. Somewhere like the theatre royal as it has big tables at the back.
Yes I will do one pure maths, the same time as you do having looked at the Functional analysis and the Fractals I'm not sure I want to do them as I pointed out on my blog I think basing the Functional analysis course on Kreyszig would be more appropriate and as I don't want to wait seven years I intend to read that over the next year or two
So maybe analytic number theory 1 and 2 might be a better option. If me you and graeme coordinate our timing we could do these courses at the same time.

No its not a stupid choice it's a very wise Choice I hope to join you but I expect our courses will not overlap
My choices would be
1) Calculus of Variations
2) Applied Complex Variables
3) Approximation theory
4) Fractals
5) Functional Analysis
I guess you would want to do the 2 number theory courses I must admit I would be tempted perhaps you can do 2 MSc's
I would only commit myself to 1 per year as well with all the other things I want to do.

Hi Chris
These things cost about six-hundred quid eh? I reckon that that's cheap if I can throw a f£$k into my brain and meet my mates in the pub afterwards.
I'll make you a deal, I'll take at least one applied course at the same time as you, if you'll take a pure one alongside me.
