Being somewhat subversive in nature with a tendency to showboating, I would always choose the clever or elegant answer over the mundane. That's the one that I derive the most pleasure from. If it's wrong then I learn something and if it's right, well satisfaction guaranteed. 'Tis a win-win in my book. I have begun to realise already that for my studies to be successful I must follow the path I want not the one laid out for me. Keep going, the universe needs light to show others where to tread.

I thought it was from "A Clockwork Orange", but apparently it's from "A Stranger in a Strange Land" by Heinlein.
