I have realised I am naturally more theoretical than I am practical. I spent a lot of time reading about and listening to other peoples podcasts and put off doing my own. I realised that I had to take the bull by the horns and get on with it. I now have 2 podcasts about eportfolios and feel quite pleased with myself. I found audacity relatively easy to use and found that if I wrote down my presentation I was able to read it and not get confused about what I was saying. I hope that some people listen to them and give me some feedback.

Time to critique some other podcasts.

Snap! The thing is, the more I review, shred and consider podcasts done by the others the less able I am to hit the record button myself.
I thought I'd got out of it by planning to interview someone who has just completed an e-learning course at Sussex University, but this has been postponed.
I then came across the Pope's podcast for Thought of the Day on BBC Radio 4 and far from being put off, it made things rather simpler. Like a shorter version of Alistair Cooke's Letter from America.
Write it like a letter, one person to another. Deep breath. Hit record. Talk. Hit stop. Add some covering notes and upload?
