Garden photoblog

Visible to anyone in the world

Over the last few months I've been photoblogging (after a fashion) the seasons in my garden since moving house in June.

Not technically a blog as it all goes in one album rather than dated posts but it is in chronological order and does tell a story

I love your garden photos Stefan! Do you have a large garden? And do you do all the work yourself? I try to do mine alone (hubby is available for some heavy work, but doesn't really enjoy it), and I'm definitely not managing it!

Hi Stefan, I know the feeling of contemplating the glory of one's garden after working at it for months before the new blossoming. I don't have a garden any more but my climbing roses are still with me on the fifth and last floor of a town's building..and almost ready to flower again... Angela

Lovely photos -- well done on the garden. I have bookmarked your blog on Diigo!

Best wishes,

Thanks guys smile My garden is 120' long which I think is pretty big for a garden in a British city but not massive. I'd never been into gardening before but have really got into it in the last year or so and moving to this house and garden has really fired me up!

Hi Stef, I started touring the blogs this morning and I hope you don't mind if I make a digest of bits and pieces I wanted to write to you: can you consider bringing back your personal study reflections? I visited your blog every now and then and it was interesting to read your thoughts as a learner, the sharing of the feelings...

2. Aikido from the forums: I am a spectator as I take my daughter to the dojo for her aikido lessons. It's a fascinating art, both the robes and when - parsimoniusly - her teacher gives demonstrations of the techniques, almost a dance. Above all though - and here the professional relevance with my post - it is a great lesson of rigour and discipline. Peer learning too as the older kids teach the younger ones. A lot of what is learnt in the dojo could be effectively transferred to many other aspects of life, might we say the same of much of every other type of learning we all do?
